FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida. – Fort Lauderdale police are searching for the person who shot a man Tuesday night.

According to Detective Ali Adamson, the shooting was reported around 10 p.m. in the 1400 block of Southwest Fifth Court in the city’s Riverside Park neighborhood.

Adamson said officers arrived on scene and found an injured man.

He was transported to Broward Health Medical Center as a trauma alert by the Fort Lauderdale Fire Department.

A Local 10 News crew was in the area Wednesday morning while detectives were still processing the scene. A large quantity of blood was found on the front door of a house.

Adamson confirmed no arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is continuing.
