Sean “Diddy” Combs won a small victory in court after a judge reprimanded federal agents suspected of leaking information in his sex trafficking case.

Diddy’s lawyers had requested silence from the federal government after The Post detailed The troubled musician’s so-called depraved “Freak Offs” cited a federal law enforcement source involved in the investigation as calling the orgies “sick bullshit.”

In response, Manhattan federal Judge Arun Subramanian issued an order Friday evening warning federal prosecutors and other law enforcement officials working on the case to follow existing laws prohibiting them from disclosing information to the grand jury or other non-public information that may impact a fair trial.

“These remarks, if made by an official involved in the investigation or prosecution of this matter, are clearly inappropriate,” Subramanian wrote.

“To be clear, this order is not based on a finding that there has been any wrongdoing to this point, as the court has made no findings at this point regarding (Diddy’s) allegations that “information related to the case has been leaked,” Subramanian added.

“The purpose of this order is to help ensure that nothing now happens that could prejudice a fair trial. »

“The Court will take appropriate action in case of violation of the rules,” he added.

Earlier this month, Diddy’s lawyers requested a hearing in this case following allegations that Department of Homeland Security agents damning footage from 2016 showing Diddy leaked beating his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in the hallway of a hotel.

The hearing, still ongoing, sought to bar federal authorities from inappropriately sharing additional information about the criminal case with the press.

Combs faces racketeering and sex trafficking charges over allegations that he ran his Bad Boys Records label as a “criminal enterprise” for more than a decade.

The rapper, currently in federal custody in Brooklyn, has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Diddy’s legal team and an SDNY spokesperson declined to comment.
