Black River Audubon Society releases annual meeting and dinner details – Morning Journal

The Black River Audubon Society Annual Meeting and Dinner will be held Dec. 3 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Henry’s Barn, 46223 US 20 in Oberlin.

Tickets to attend are $20 and can be purchased by registering online at blackriveraudubon.org.

The evening will include a catered dinner and a special presentation on the Saw-whet Owl by research expert Tom Bartlett, according to a news release. The organization will also recognize volunteers and award the Jack Smith Conservation Award.

There will also be an annual report reviewing the accomplishments of the past two years and an overview of future conservation efforts.

Evening activities will include: raffles; silent auction; 50-50 draw; Spin and win; holiday shopping; and Bird Trivia. All of these activities help support the work of the Audubon Society, the release said.
