Alexandra Daddario Sells Treehouse-Inspired Mid-Century Modern Gem for $2.9 Million

A year and a half after purchasing their mid-century modern home in Los Angeles, new parents Alexandra Daddario and Andrew Form have called it quits. As reported World ManorTHE White Lotus star and her film producer husband, who welcomed their first baby on Halloweenlisted the elegantly renovated Mandeville Canyon home in August. It officially changed hands earlier this week for $2.9 million.

Daddario and Form purchased the treehouse-inspired abode, built in 1959 by surfer-turned-architect Matt Kivlin, for $2.8 million in May 2023. The previous owners were documentary filmmaker Lacey Uhlemeyer and her husband, Rendell Johnson, who welcomed ANNOUNCEMENTThe cameras go on tour. THE 2022 Feature Highlights the transformative renovations the duo tackled in collaboration with designer Claire Thomas. They sought to restore the midcentury mansion to its glory after a renovation dating back to the 1980s. Uhlemeyer said ANNOUNCEMENT that the home’s beautiful original design still shone through, which ultimately attracted her to the property. “What I saw, beyond the chocolate-brown painted ceilings and stone-tiled bathrooms, was a truly special post-and-beam architectural cabin with floor-to-ceiling windows that invite you to a beautiful, protected view of the canyon,” she said.

It seems that Witches of Mayfair The actor hasn’t changed much, if anything, at the residence. What remains is a loft with ’60s-style green shag carpet, bare wood beams and a serene green master bathroom with a Japanese-inspired hammered copper tub, according to listing photos. Lined with glass, the light-filled great room is centered around a red-tiled fireplace that separates the kitchen and dining room from the living room. A wraparound porch equipped for outdoor dining, a saunaand a cold diving complement the amenities in the tree-lined courtyard.

It’s unclear where Daddario and Form moved to, but the Percy Jackson the actor shared a glimpse of his baby’s new baby nursery on Instagram recently; the space features high ceilings, exposed brick, floral-print curtains, and a sage green shelf unit.
