2024 election updates: Trump drives to rally in marked garbage truck

Days after a comedian called Puerto Rico a “heap of garbage” at Donald Trump’s MSG rally, the former president drove to a Green Bay, Wis., rally in a garbage truck on Wednesday stamped Trump.

Trump continued to criticize President Joe Biden’s response to the controversial moment at the MSG rally in which he said Trump supporters were trash.

Biden clarified his comments and Vice President Kalama Harris told reporters: “I strongly disagree with any criticism of people based on their vote. »

Trump, however, told reporters while in the garbage truck that “250 million people are not garbage.”

“I can tell you who the real trash is but I won’t say that,” he continued.

Trump falsely claimed there was corruption in Pennsylvania.

Later, pressed on whether he would accept the election results if there was no evidence of fraud, Trump reiterated his claims about Pennsylvania, then said: “If they don’t find any evidence of cheating zero leaves, I will accept it. »

Pressed on the potential role that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. could play in his administration, Trump vaguely said he would work with him, but without confirming that he would be given the top health job and social services.

“We’re going to work with him, and he’s a very talented guy. He wants women’s health. He wants people’s health and we will work with him. He’s a very, very talented guy,” Trump said.
