Fiona Allen is a non-citizen and legal resident of the United States.

To vote legally in the United States, you must be a U.S. citizen and at least 18 years old by the next general election.

On March 7, 2020, Allen filled out a voter ID indicating that she is not a U.S. citizen. The registration card explicitly states in the instructions that if you answer “no” to the question about U.S. citizenship, you should not fill out the registration card, according to the prosecutor’s office.

Further investigation revealed that Allen voted in five elections, including the presidential election on November 3, 2020, May 3, 2022, the primary election on November 8, 2022, the general election on August 8, 2023, the special election and on November 7, 2023, the general election.

Allen was charged with the following charges:

• Five counts of illegal voting

• One count of false registration on the electoral roll
