2 Arizona Voters Selected in Elon Musk’s $1 Million a Day Sweepstakes

A judge ruled Tuesday that Million dollar daily draw for voters that Elon Musk’s political action committee is organizing can continue.

But according to Musk’s lawyers, maybe it’s not a draw at all.

Musk’s lawyers have said the winners are paid spokespeople and not chosen by chance.

From October 19one eligible voter per day was selected to receive $1 million. Two of those recipients are from Arizona, including Joshua Carl Offenhartz.

He said he signed the petition that made him eligible for the $1 million. It asks voters in swing states to approve the U.S. Constitution, particularly the First and Second Amendments.

“As a lawyer, I believe in due process and preventing unreasonable searches and seizures. As an American and a Jewish American, I believe in the First Amendment and religious freedom. And as a young father, you want to make the world a better place,” Offenhartz said.

On his Page X, formerly known as Twitter, Offenhartz claims that the petition did not influence his vote and that his early vote was received weeks ago.

Also on his page is an almost 2 minute video shared by Musk’s America PAC.

In it, Offenhartz said: “As parents of two young children, we want to leave behind an America that is an America they will recognize, an America where they can grow up, find work and raise their own families. And we want to feel safe and confident in that future.

It’s unclear if that’s what Musk’s lawyer meant when he called the recipients’ spokespeople.

THE The PAC website lists him and other beneficiaries as having “won” $1 million.
