LONDON, Ky. (WYMT) – In London, Brooke Nichelson signed her letter of intent to play basketball at the next level on Wednesday, November 13.

Nichelson signed with Murray State surrounded by her family, teammates and friends from North Laurel High School.

She helped the Lady Jags win back-to-back 13th regional championships and will defend the team’s title in her senior season.

“It’s very exciting,” Nichelson said. “It’s kind of like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me. So it’s very exciting. I want to thank my mother for being there like every day. She is one of the main reasons why I am today.
