Noida: Traffic advisory issued for Diwali shoppers

Noida: Ahead of Diwali, Noida Traffic Police has issued an advisory stating that vehicular movement is restricted near Sector 18, Atta Market, DLF Mall of India and Great India Place (GIP) Mall starting Tuesday and there will be no parking. area close to shopping centers and sector 18 market.

“As a number of people are expected to visit malls and markets, movement of cars, tempos and e-rickshaws near Atta Market, Indira Market, GIP Mall, DLF Mall, Garden botany, etc. is banned from Tuesday till Diwali (Thursday),” said Yamuna Prasad, Noida deputy commissioner of police (traffic).

“We have also banned parking zones outside malls like GIP, DLF Mall, Center Stage Mall, Gardens Galleria etc. Illegally parked vehicles will be towed away from these zones and e-challans will be issued,” added the officer.

Automobiles, tempos and e-rickshaws will not be allowed to ply from Atta Peer to Sector 18 market. “Shoppers have been advised to park their vehicles in the authorized parking lot of the mall as well as the multi-parking lot levels of sector 18,” a traffic police official said.

Likewise, there is no parking zone outside the Logix City Center shopping mall. A crane was stationed there to tow vehicles parked illegally and obstructing traffic. Similar traffic controls will be in place in Jagat Farm, Pari Chowk, Surajpur, Kasna and Dadri area of ​​Greater Noida, officials said.
