Nvidia announces major changes to GeForce Now game streaming platform

Major changes are coming to Nvidia’s popular GeForce Now cloud streaming service, starting with a monthly gaming time cap starting in 2025. Starting January 1, new subscribers will be limited to 100 hours of game streaming per month. month.

The price point for performance will remain the same as for Priority, with new support for 1440p resolution streaming, ultra-wide resolution, and the ability to save graphics settings across all streaming sessions.

Existing Performance and Ultimate GeForce Now subscribers, or users who sign up before the end of 2024, will not be affected by the 100-hour streaming limit until January 1, 2026. According to Nvidia, only 6% of its subscribers exceed 100 hours. -hours. Subscribers will also have the option to keep more than 15 hours of unused streaming each month.
