Upon arriving at the address listed on the search warrant, one of the people who lives there, David L. West, 62, was outside. The police read him the warrant and began their search.

During the search, they found pre-packaged bags containing methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia commonly used in the consumption, packaging and sale of illegal narcotics, as well as several firearms in the bedroom and West’s bathroom.
