During the inspection, several issues were flagged, the most pressing being unauthorized structures. Noida authority officials have ordered immediate steps to remove encroachments, including illegal vending zones and shops near RG Residency and Prateek Laurel.

Infrastructure problems were also identified, including poorly maintained roads and inadequate road safety measures. The team assessed the quality of the road construction and requested the installation of appropriate speed bumps and traffic signs to improve safety in the area.

Nikhil Singhal, Chairman, Noida Highrise Federation 100X Sectors (Sector 100 and above), both sectors have several residential companies such as Eldeco Amantran, Gaur Garndeur, Amarpali Zodiac, Amrapali Platinum, RG Residency and Prateek Laurel. The two sectors have an estimated population of around 65,000 inhabitants.

“Removing unauthorized structures will restore public space and help prevent future illegal construction. Immediate action will be taken against encroachments. We are committed to improving infrastructure to ensure safer travel for residents,” said Vijay Rawal, Director General, Civil Sector, Noida Authority.

Another major concern raised was improper waste disposal, with residents pointing to various illegal dumping sites across the sectors. Noida authorities have promised to take strict action, including imposing penalties on those responsible for unauthorized waste disposal. “We will apply sanctions to ensure a cleaner environment for all,” the official said.

Furthermore, the inspection gave rise to discussions on the maintenance of public spaces. There have been requests for maintenance of street lights, signs and parks, with special attention to repairing the boundary wall near Eldeco Amantran, NHRF officials said. Plans for new fencing works to maintain parks near Eldeco and Zodiac have also been proposed.

“We are actively working to install speed bumps and appropriate signage along the roads. Fences will be immediately installed at the dumping sites and repairs will be carried out to improve the boundary walls,” Rawal said.

“It is encouraging to see authorities finally tackling long-standing problems in our sector. Encroachments and littering are a persistent problem,” said Rajkumar Singh, a resident of Eldeco Amantran, Sector 119.

“Today’s meeting and inspection was extremely productive and we are grateful for the timely participation of the authorities. We have been assured that all outstanding issues will be resolved within the next 10 days, giving us hope for rapid improvements in our sectors,” Singhal said.
