CNN Polling Analyst’s Warning to Kamala Harris: The Signs ‘Are Obvious’

CNN Data Analyst Harry Enten Issues Warning to Vice President Kamala Harris” campaign, saying the president Joe Bidenapproval ratings of and Republican recording in key states is troubling and if Donald Trump wins, “the signs will always have been obvious”.

Continuing, Enten said: “Republicans “If we put more Republicans in the electorate, the number of Democrats relative to the number of Republicans has gone down, and so the bottom line is if the Republicans win next week, if Donald Trump wins next week, the signs will have been obvious from the beginning.

In a survey carried out by YouGov and the Economist released Wednesday, 25 percent of U.S. adult citizens believe the country is “going in the right direction overall,” and 64 percent believe it is “on the wrong track.”

The YouGov poll also showed Biden had a 40 percent approval rating and a 55 percent disapproval rating. Similarly, forecasts from 538 polls show Biden with an approval rating of 39.1% and a disapproval rating of 55.7.

“Joe Biden is not on the ballot but he is certainly on Americans’ minds,” Enten noted.

Harris has tried to separate herself from Biden since announcing her candidacy after Biden dropped out of the 2024 race after a disastrous debate against Trump.

“I’m clearly not Joe Biden,” Harris said repeatedly when asked about his political differences. She also said she would put a Republican in her cabinet, emphasizing that was a key difference.

At the same time, Republican registration numbers have been strong in recent months, with Republicans ahead of Democrats in the essential swing state of Pennsylvania.

Early turnout in Republican elections also seems to have increased with Democrats this election cycle compared to 2020.
