This episode served as a conclusion to the first major arc of the series as Momo Ayase and Ken Takakura reach a new level in their budding friendship, and now the anime truly begins from this moment. What happens in Dandadan episode 4?

DandanThe first four episodes all focused on Momo and Okarun (whom Momo nicknamed as such because she refuses to use her real name) as they harness mystical powers they have never been able to use before. With the end of the previous episode, the two men then decide to fight Turbo Granny directly. Episode 4 picks up with them trying to carry out their plan to have the spirit chase them outside the city (and somehow survive the whole time). ). But things quickly go wrong because Turbo Granny has much more power and control than expected.

But thanks to the ingenuity of the two, Momo and Okarun eventually manage to lure Granny out of town after chasing them on a speeding train. With the help of Momo’s grandmother (who has already received the first censorship of the show with her debut in the previous episode), Turbo Granny is successfully defeated and Okarun is freed from the curse. This was the biggest battle for both of them so far, and the episode’s final moments instead reveal the true hook of Dandan because it is clear that they will remain close friends.

Dandan’The first few episodes of Tatsu may have already stood out thanks to the way the creative team at production studio Science Saru brought the manga to life, but the original Tatsu manga is more about wild aliens and ghosts than Momo and Okarun meet.
