Lévis returns from shoulder injury. While he hasn’t been ruled out for this week’s game, there haven’t been many positive updates on his chances of playing either.

Friday, head coach Brian Callahan spoke out with an update about Lévis. This may be an update, but it is an extremely cryptic update.

“We kind of have a pretty good idea of ​​where we’re headed,” Callahan said. “We will be ready to play them on Sunday. Either (Lévis) starts or he doesn’t start. He will be inactive if he doesn’t start.”

Basically, the current state of the quarterback situation is that if Levis starts, he starts. On the other hand, if Lévis does not start, Mason Rudolph will play in his place.

So far this season, Lévis has had a difficult sophomore year. He played in five games, although he left early in one of those outings. The 25-year-old quarterback completed 66.4 percent of his pass attempts for 699 yards, five touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Obviously, turnover numbers have been a major concern for the Titans.

As for Rudolph, he was solidbut not great, replacing Levis in the lineup. He completed 59.6 percent of his passes for 300 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

Needless to say, Tennessee’s offense has been difficult to guard. They weren’t able to move the ball consistently and they turned the ball over a lot.

Looking ahead, Levis could really play for his position for the rest of the season. If he continues to struggle and shows no signs of progress beyond his struggles, the Titans are being called consider replacing it.

Hopefully Levis can return to 100 percent and start to turn his year around. During his rookie season, he showed major flashes of having a big arm and star potential. This season this has not been seen anywhere.
