EastEnders revealed more details about The explosive return of Ruby Allen in Albert Square next week.

It was confirmed that Ruby will make a spectacular return in next week’s episodes, with first look footage teasing a huge showdown with Martin in Louisa Lytton’s first appearance since 2021.

In September, Sharon discovered during her brief stint in prison that her former stepmother Chrissie was cellmates with Ruby – before leaving to give birth.

Sharon realized that this meant Ruby was telling the truth about her pregnancy and that Martin had a child he didn’t know existed.

Sharon intended to tell him the truth as soon as she was released, but Martin was already stressed about Sonia’s imprisonment, so she decided to keep this huge news to herself for now.

In scenes set to air next week, Sharon prepares to drop this huge little bombshell on Martin, but she can’t find the right moment – and Martin is distracted, questioning Mr Lister about the closure of Bridge Street Market .

Later in The Vic, Sharon finally bites the bullet and tells Martin everything, recounting what she discovered thanks to Chrissie and revealing that he has a son.

Martin is stunned by this news and confides in Stacey, who is understandably suspicious of the veracity of this news. However, any doubts are quickly put to rest when Sharon presents a birth certificate as confirmation.

He is curious and tries to get Ruby’s address from Sharon, but they are interrupted by a knock at the door. Ruby herself makes a grand entrance, bursting into the house and accusing a confused Martin of stealing from her.

Ruby thinks Martin broke into her house, but Sharon soon corrects her and clears her name. Martin takes the opportunity to ask questions once and for all about the secret child, and Ruby admits that they have a son.

Ruby finds herself in conflict with Stacey, her best friend turned bitter enemy, and then she drops another huge bomb on Martin.

After this final shock, Martin confronts Ruby and demands answers. As the week continues, Stacey stands by Martin and promises to support him in his battle against Ruby.
