OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – It’s election night in the United States.

While the nation has its eyes fixed on the presidential race, there are a few key races here in Nebraska that could have a bigger impact on the country’s overall political landscape.

Nebraskans will vote on several ballot initiatives, including school vouchers; oppose abortion measures; and medical marijuana, although its appearance on the ballot continues to navigate the courts.

As of Monday, Secretary of State Bob Evnen’s office projected 72% turnout for the 2024 general election.
