Vice President Kamala Harris will appear on the final episode of SNL before the 2024 presidential election, according to multiple reports.

Reporters on Saturday evening confirmed that aides to the Democratic candidate had said Air Force Two was in fact heading to New York instead of stopping in Detroit. Earlier Saturday, the vice president held a campaign event in Charlotte, North Carolina, before heading north to New York.

According to the Associated Press, At least three people familiar with the matter confirmed the news but said they were not authorized to speak publicly on the show.

NBC website as the show has only confirmed that tonight’s guests will include host John Mulaney with musical guest Chappell Roan.

THE The New York Times reported that the vice president’s appearance was planned as a surprise. It is unclear when a deal to appear on the live stream was finalized.

Former President Donald Trump and current GOP candidate also appeared on the popular long-running American sketch comedy show in 2015, where he delivered the opening monologue on that show eight years ago.
