RESTON, Virginia (7News) — Police are searching for a person who burglarized several homes in Reston, Virginia, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

On Oct. 2, authorities said they went to a home in the 12000 block of Edgemere Circle for a report of a burglary. The homeowner told police that someone entered his home and stole his belongings over the weekend, authorities said.

Detectives said they began searching the area for the person responsible. During their investigation, authorities determined that the same person was also involved in several home burglaries that occurred between September 28 and 29.

Detectives have released the following images of the person allegedly linked to the burglaries.
