WAIANAE (HawaiiNewsNow) – Water Supply Board crews are responding to a 12-inch water main break that closed part of Waianae Valley Road.

The breakup was reported around 6 a.m.

Waianae Valley Road is closed in both directions between McArthur Street and Plantation Road as repairs begin.

The public is advised to avoid the area.

According to BWS, around 11 customers are affected.

There is no deadline for completion of repairs.
