Allieu Kamara scored the only goal of the game for seventh-seeded Burlington Township in its 1-0 shutout of 10th-seeded Lawrence in the first round of the Central Jersey, Group 3 tournament in Burlington.

Tommy Bennett made eight saves for Burlington Township (9-9-1) for his fifth shutout of the season.

Kamara scored for Burlington Township in the second half off a pass from Matias Toros-Killion.

Lawrence falls to 11-9-1.

Seventh-seeded Burlington Township will face second-seeded Northern Burlington in the quarterfinals of the Central Jersey Tournament, Group 3, Thursday in Columbus.
