Sources – Jaguars WR Christian Kirk Broke Collarbone

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Christian Kirk is expected to miss the remainder of the season with a broken collarbone, league sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Kirk was injured early in the fourth quarter of the Jaguars’ 30-27 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday at EverBank Field when he landed on his left shoulder while attempting to catch a deep pass from Trevor Lawrence. He left the field supporting his left arm and wore an arm sling after the match.

Kirk had 27 catches for 379 yards and a touchdown and averaged a career-high 14 yards per catch. He is in the third year of a four-year contract worth $72 million ($37 million guaranteed) that he signed in March 2022 and will make $14.5 million this season. This is the second year in a row that his season has been interrupted by injury. He missed the final five games of 2023 with a groin injury.

Kirk has caught 168 passes for 2,274 yards and 12 touchdowns in his two-plus seasons with the Jaguars, including 84 passes for 1,108 yards and eight touchdowns – all career highs – in 2022.
