How to play Mega Millions

To buy a ticket, you’ll need to go to your local convenience store, gas station, or grocery store – and in a handful of states, you can buy tickets online.

To play, you will need to choose six numbers. Five numbers will be white balls ranging from 1 to 70. The golden Mega Ball is a number between 1 and 25.

If you think the odds are against you, request a “Quick Pick” or “Easy Pick” and the computer will generate the numbers randomly for you.
