Ravens’ John Harbaugh drops truth bomb on ‘complete’ domination against Broncos

Baltimore Ravens I smoked the Denver Broncos 41-10 on Sunday. Their Week 9 victory came after a brutal loss to the Browns seven days earlier. Lamar Jackson threw three touchdowns and Derrick Henry scored two more to eliminate his AFC opponent. Head Coach John Harbaugh complimented his team on their big victory while waiting for week 10.

“We played our best all-around game of the season,” the veteran coach said.

The Ravens have struggled on defense this season, but scrambled Bo Nix and gave their offense time to take them down. That side of the ball hasn’t been a problem this year, as Jackson and Henry are in the midterm MVP race. Justin Tucker made both of his field goals and five extra points as he continued to put an end to special teams concerns.

The full game comes just days before a massive matchup in the AFC North. The Bengals won Sunday to improve to 4-5. The Ravens are now 6-3 while the Steelers are bye at 6-2. Baltimore and Cincinnati face off Thursday in Maryland in a game that could decide the future of the division. When they face off, the Ravens know they will have two of the best players in the league alongside them.

The Ravens have struggled to close out games on offense for years. The Lamar Jackson era was defined by their inability to get past the fourth quarter in close games. This happened in Week 2 when they lost to the Raiders. Since then, it hasn’t been a problem thanks to Derrick Henry. The future Hall of Famer leads the league in rushing and rushing touchdowns after nine weeks.

The King’s dominance opened the game up for Lamar Jackson and his passing ability shone through. Zay Flowers caught two touchdowns in this game, Mark Andrews came back to life and Dionte Johnson just added to help the attack. His performance against the Broncos was record-breaking, according to Sports Illustrated.

“Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson matched another AFC North legend, former Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, by recording his fourth career perfect passing game in Sunday’s 41-10 blowout win over the Broncos,” SI Now posted on social media.

With these two guys controlling the offense, the Ravens will have a chance in the AFC playoffs. Jackson didn’t make the Super Bowl despite winning two MVPs and with Henry driving the sidecar, this could be the year.
