Cleveland Police Response

Police sent out a statement calling the search a “training exercise” to recover two vehicles from the river. They said it was too early in the investigation to speculate whether the vehicles were linked to Williams’ disappearance.

Police also said the vehicles would be towed to a police impound lot for identification and possible evidence.
