Sabrina Carpenter engaged more voters than any other artist ahead of the 2024 election

Sabrina Carpenter asked her fans to please, please, please do their civic duty.

The pop sensation mobilized more than 260,000 voters and registered more than 35,000 new voters ahead of the vote. 2024 presidential electionby a report from Variety Tuesday.

The successful “Espresso” singer in partnership with the nonpartisan organization HeadCount to break the voter engagement record set by Ariana Grande in 2019 during her “Sweetener” world tour.

Carpenter, 25, engaged fans through giveaways, in-person activations and video boards during his “Short n’ Sweet” arena tour.

One sweepstakes – which has since ended – included a chance to go to the “Taste” singer’s concert in San Francisco on November 9.

To participate, candidates had to verify their voter registration status, by variety.

Ahead of the “Short n’ Sweet” tour, Carpenter also teamed up with HeadCount to send two fans to see her perform at the 2024 Governors Ball Music Festival in June.

This contest alone allowed more than 40,000 fans to check their voter registration overnight.

Meanwhile, Green Day’s “Saviors” tour also broke a record by registering more than 7,900 new voters and engaging more than 61,000 voters via in-person activations, according to the outlet.

Carpenter continued to use his influence on Election Day on Tuesday by using his Instagram Story to encourage fans to vote.

“Please, please vote today!” It’s time to make your voice heard,” reads the HeadCount graphic she shared.

She then shared Variety’s story about her record-breaking campaign engagement, adding, “And if we missed you, it’s not too late to vote today!!.”

Carpenter joins many others celebrities who have made themselves heard about encouraging their fans to vote in this year’s election as Kamala Harris and Donald Trump vie for the Oval Office.

This list includes Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Chloe Grace Moretz, Elon Musk, Amber Rose, CardiB, Arnold Schwarzenegger and more.

Global superstar Taylor Swift – who recently sang “Good Graces” performed with on the Eras tourapproved the vice president via Instagram in September.
