Guidelines for CAT 2024 Exam Day: The Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta will conduct the IIM CAT 2024 exams tomorrow, November 24, 2024. Management aspirants preparing to appear for the CAT 2024 exams should download their IIM CAT 2024 admit cards through the link provided on the official website.

IIM CAT is conducted every year for admissions to postgraduate management programs offered by IIMS and other participating management institutions across the country. It is estimated that around 3.29 lakh students will appear for CAT exams this year across 170 exam centers.

CAT 2024 takes place over three slots. Details of time slots and presentation time at the exam center are mentioned on the CAT 2024 Admit Card. Students are advised to download the CAT 2024 admit card and bring a hard copy to the exam center on the day of the exam.

With only 2 days left for the exam, students can practice through the link given on the official website. Mock tests help students understand the exam pattern and will also help in the revision process to prepare before the exams.

What to take to the test center?

• CAT 2024 exams will be conducted in online mode. When presenting to the examination centers, it is mandatory for candidates to have with them the following documents
• CAT 2024 Admit Card
• Valid Identity Proof (Passport, Driving License, Voter ID, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card)
• Scribal documents

Dress code

• Students must respect the dress code issued by the examination body.
• Students are not permitted to wear clothing with pockets or metal embellishments and buttons.
• Both male and female applicants must follow the prescribed dress code.
• The search will be carried out at the examination center before the candidate verification process.

Objects prohibited in the examination room

Candidates should note that the following are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall

• Mobile phones
• Smart watches
• Blue tooth appliances
• Calculators
• Any other electrical appliance

Pen and paper to be provided

Students will be provided with pen and paper at the testing center for any rough work or calculations.

Report time

Candidates should ensure to check the slot details before appearing at the exam centers. Candidates are advised to arrive at the center at least one hour before the start of the exam. Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination center one hour before the examination to complete the candidate search and verification process.
