New Delhi:

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will close registrations with late fees for the Common Undergraduate Entrance Examination (UCEED) 2025 and Common Design Entrance Examination 2025 today. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam can register on the official website of the institute before 5 p.m. The exam is scheduled for January 19, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Candidates will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 4,000 to complete the application process. For female candidates and those belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories, the registration fee is Rs 2000. The admit cards will be available for download from January 3, 2025. The last date for rectification of discrepancies in the admit card is on 9th January. , 2025. The results of the examination will be declared on March 7, 2025.

UCEED is conducted for admissions to Bachelor of Design (BDes) programs at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Roorkee and IIITDM Jabalpur. Many other institutes also recognize the UCEED score card for admission to their BDes program. IIT Bombay is the organizing institute responsible for conducting UCEED 2025.

Qualified CEED students can apply for master’s and doctoral programs at various institutes. The CEED 2025 score is valid for a period of one year from the date of declaration of the result.

Eligibility
Only students who have passed class 12 (or equivalent) in 2024 in all subjects or appearing for the first time in 2025 in any stream (science, commerce or arts and humanities) are eligible to appear for UCEED. 2025.

The UCEED 2025 score is only valid for admission to programs in the 2025-2026 academic year. The exam takes place over three hours at a testing center. The exam is conducted in two parts: Part A is computer-based and Part B includes drawing-related questions which must be attempted on the sheet provided. It is mandatory for candidates to attempt both parts within the given time.
