Former WWE star Mustafa Ali will open a brand new wrestling school next year.

Ali announced the news Saturday afternoon on social media. The school is called the Chicago Wrestling Center and the first classes will begin in January.

According to the CIAC websitethe school will offer various amenities and benefits to students, including:

Ali is a former member of WWE’s 205 Live division. Ali spent time on the main roster with various iterations of gimmicks after 205 Live ended, but never settled for anything specific. He was released in September 2023.

Since his release, Ali has competed in independent wrestling dates around the country and worked for New Japan Pro Wrestling and TNA. In TNA, Ali won the X-Division Championship. Ali is a well-known talent in the Chicagoland area, with roots in independent wrestling and other local promotions.
