Ducati Panigale V4 2025 in Malaysia – RM182,900

After its global reveal during World Ducati Week 2024 in Misano, Italy, the Ducati Panigale V4 2025 superbike gets its official launch in Malaysia, priced at RM182,900. The price does not include road tax, insurance or registration and every Panigale V4 comes with Ducati’s three-year Ever Red factory warranty with unlimited mileage.

Now in its seventh generation, the Panigale V4 comes with an all-new chassis, swingarm and bodywork, all designed to allow the rider to go faster on the track. Place of honor goes to the Ducati Stradale V-four engine, with a displacement of 1,103 cc.

Power is rated at 216 hp at 13,500 rpm with 120.9 Nm of torque at 11,250 rpm, while the addition of the under-suspension racing silencers increases that number to 224 hp. The choice of the full racing exhaust system gives the Panigale V4 a maximum power of 229 hp.

The Stradale V-4 now weighs one kg less thanks to improvements to the cooling systems and reduced fuel consumption as well as new camshafts. The electronics of the Panigale V4 have also been significantly improved compared to the previous generation model.

This includes Ducati Vehicle Observer, an algorithm developed by Ducati to precisely define skid and wheelie targets and then transmit the information to traction and wheelie control. Additionally, 70 virtual sensors collect information on operating conditions in real time.

All information is displayed on a 6.9-inch TFT-LCD unit with a resolution of 1280 x 480. The screen comes with dedicated track and road modes, optimizing the information displayed to the rider.

The amount of information displayed is immense, including real-time horsepower and torque, g-force indicator, lean angle (the new Panigale V4S is capable of reclining up to 65 degrees), and tire pressure monitoring. Of note is the lap timer, which uses GPS to track not only the current lap time, but also split times to indicate whether the driver is staying consistent, slower or faster than the current time.

Also new for the Panigale V4: the Brembo Hyper brake calipers at the front, 60 grams lighter than the Brembo Stylema calipers currently installed. The Hypure stirrups offer improved internal ventilation and a new road retention system and are offered in four colors: red, yellow, black and gold.

The wheels are Panigale V4 track ready, able to be fitted with Pirelli Diablo Superbike 125/70 and 200/65 racing slicks without any further modifications to the suspension or chassis. As standard, the Panigale V4 is equipped with Pirelli Diablo SuperCorsa SP-V4 tires.

Ducati Electronic Suspension, or DES 3.0, comes with new hardware and software as well as a new suspension linkage, providing more precise customization of telemetric damping and better management of load transfer under acceleration. The suspension calibrates itself for comfort if it detects that the Panigale V4S is driving on the road.

With bodywork inspired by the legendary Ducati 916, the Panigale V4 bodywork reduces drag, improves cooling and improves rider comfort. This includes Formula 1-derived dual-profile wings, which make the Panigale V4 easier to maneuver at track speeds with increased agility in crosswinds.
