A judge criticized federal agents for leaking details about Diddy’s sex trafficking investigation, issuing a gag order to protect the integrity of the trial.

After hundreds of trials, Sean “Diddy” Combs won a small victory in court when the judge criticized a few federal agents suspected of leaking information about the mogul’s sex trafficking investigation. The rapper who was denied bail twice is currently incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

Court condemns federal government with silence order

The court’s slap on the feds came after recent documents and photos shared by The Post revealed a wealth of evidence about Diddy’s follies. The outlet cited as sources one of the federal law enforcement agencies who described these monsters as “sick shit,” leading the court to issue a gag order in response.

Friday evening, Manhattan Federal Judge Arun Subramanian silenced all federal prosecutors and other officials involved in the case. The order warned the receivers to refrain from sharing any information from the grand jury decisions with any other non-public information about the case that could interfere with a fair trial. He also asked the receivers to respect the laws in force on this subject, as reported by the New York Post.

Subramanian wrote: “These remarks, if made by an official involved in the investigation or prosecution of this matter, are clearly inappropriate. » The judge added: “To be clear, this order is not based on a finding that there has been any wrongdoing to date, as the court has made no conclusions at this stage regarding the allegations (from Diddy) that information related to the case was leaked. been disclosed. »

He stressed: “The purpose of this order is to help ensure that nothing now happens that could interfere with a fair trial. The Court will take appropriate action in the event of a violation of the rules.

Request from Diddy’s lawyer

Earlier this month, Diddy’s lawyers requested a hearing regarding allegations that Department of Homeland Security agents leaked damaging footage from 2016, which allegedly shows Diddy assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in the hallway of a hotel. The current hearing aims to prevent federal officials from sharing more information about the criminal case with the media.

Diddy has pleaded not guilty to all charges against him pending his trial scheduled for May 5, 2025.
