Homeowner Stunned After Cooking With Completely Invisible Stove: ‘It’s Magic’

A pot of boiling water may seem mundane, but in the case of one pot featured on TikTok, viewers were stunned by the sight of a pot that appeared to be boiling water on its own.

TikTok user and influencer TayBeepBoop (@taybeepboop) posted on videoexplaining: “It is a pot of boiling water heated by an invisible stove.” And indeed, the counter appears to be an ordinary counter. “It’s magical!” she exclaims in the video.

I have never seen an invisible stove Before. I went to Spain on a marquee trip to visit the Porcelanosa factory and showrooms and this was one of my favorite things they had!

And although it looks like magic, they are actually magnets. Like better houses and gardens explainThese impressive invisible cooktops work by creating a magnetic field between the cookware and the burners, which are hidden under the counter. Configuration requires induction-friendly cookware (anything made with a magnetic metal, including some stainless steel and cast iron), but these can be easily found at thrift stores for just a few dollars.

“This is amazing,” one person commented.

But stoves don’t just look cool: they’re so much more. energy efficient than traditional gas or electric stoves, resulting in significantly lower energy bills.

A commenter shared theirs positive experience with an induction cooker, saying, “Mine gets so hot it boils water in less than 2 minutes.”

Another agreed, calling induction “much better, faster and much less harmful.” Indeed, traditional gas stoves emit harmful air pollutantslike nitrogen dioxide, at much higher levels than previously thought. These pollutants have been linked to respiratory problems, including asthma, particularly in children.

The impact is more extreme in homes 800 square feet or less; These residents are exposed to four times more long-term nitrogen dioxide pollution than those living in larger homes, according to a Stanford study.

It is for this reason that the government is proposing big discounts and cash incentives of up to $840 for homeowners who upgrade to induction ranges.
