The pop star, 31, appeared on the Wednesday, November 6, episode of the Bodybuilders podcast with her Wicked costar Bowen Yang – a show that he co-hosts with the actor Matt Rogers.

“Reconnecting with that part of myself that started in musical theater and loves comedy, and it’s healing for me to do that – finding roles to use those parts of myself and putting them in little houses, characters, pieces, voices and songs,” she says. “Whatever makes sense, whatever roles we think are appropriate, or areas where I could really do a good job or honor the material, I would really love to do that.” I think it’s much better for me.
