This story contains spoilers for the Nov. 19 episode of “Dancing With the Stars.”

On Tuesday night’s episode of “Dancing with the Stars,” each of the five remaining couples performed a ballroom dance and a Latin dance, but only four earned enough points and votes to advance to the week’s finale next.

Elimination went to the two Olympic athletes: Ilona Maher and Stephen Nedoroscik… but, like in season 32, no one was sent home before the final. Which means that all five couples will participate in the final.

Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson got their first perfect score for a Foxtrot to Erin Boheme’s “I Won’t Dance.” The beaming “Bachelor” star said: “I’ve never had one before. It feels really good! » Derek Hough raved, “Fred Astaire is greeting you right now” and called him “one of the best Foxtrots” he’s ever seen. Bruno Tonioli called it “a Hollywood performance from the golden age”, saying that Graziadei has “the charisma and charm of a matinee idol.”

Graziadei’s second dance was a Paso Doble to The Beatles’ “Come Together.” Inaba told “The Bachelor” star that she loved his passion and attack, but criticized him for being ahead of the music. Hough told him, “You Pasoed all over that Doble,” while Tonioli said he was “hot” and “powerful… like a rock idol,” but also noted that his timing was off. not good for dancing. The dance got two 9s and a 10 from Hough. Their total score for the evening was 58.

Pretty Little Liars star Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong performed a salsa to Jason Derulo and Michael Bublé’s Spicy Margarita, which Carrie Ann Inaba called “spicy” and “amazing,” while Bruno Tonioli said, ” this cocktail hit the mark, big time. Derek Hough, however, thought it “lacked salsa content”. The dance received a near-prefect rating of 29 out of 30.

The dance scored 29 points for a total score of 59.

Danny Amendola and Witney Carson performed an elegant Viennese waltz to John Mayer’s “Gravity” in a routine featuring a prop door. This earned them 27 out of 30.

The soccer star’s second dance was a salsa full of tricks and lifts to “I Like It” by Cardi B, Bad Bunny and J Balvin. Inaba Hough told him he “blew the roof off” and that the elevators were “10 out of 10.” The dance however got all 9s for a score of 0 out of 27, bringing their total to 54.

Olympic rugby player Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten delivered an intense matador-themed Paso Doble to Sam Smith and Kim Petras’ “Unholy” that had the crowd roaring. “The applause is deafening in the room,” said co-host Alfonso Ribeiro, while Tonioli called her a “drama queen,” comparing Maher to Salma Hayek in “From Dusk Till Dawn.” Hough said: “It looked like your dancing. It was so pointed, so deliberate, so intentional, so powerful, so strong. The judges awarded the dance 28 points.

Maher’s second dance was a Viennese waltz to JVKE’s “Golden Hour” which she said might be the last time she would dance with Bersten, who she said was now “a friend for life “. Hough called Maher “delicate, graceful and tender” as well as “magnificent.” Tonioli told her she was showing vulnerability while Inaba said, “I feel so honored” to watch the show, which she said “changes people’s lives,” including her own. Olympic gymnasts Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold performed a Cha Cha to “Bailar” by Deorro. Derek Hough was disappointed, saying: “I feel like this dance has gotten the better of you”, while Inaba said he had “stepped back” in his musicality compared to last week. Tonioli said the athlete “wasn’t quite Ricky Martin yet” but “captured the feeling of dancing.” The dance received 25 points out of 30. Nedoroscik admitted that the scores were fair because “it was a difficult style of dance for me.”

During Nedoroscik’s second, much stronger dance, a tango to “Sweet Disposition” from The Temper Trap, he lost his glasses, prompting Inaba to rejoice in his impression. Hough told her it was a “triumphant moment,” while Tonioli told her: “You did it, darling.” Inaba gave it a 10 while the other two judges gave it a 9. They finished the night with 53 points.
