ITV filming locations Until I kill you explored

Although located in London, Until I kill you was primarily filmed in Swansea, Wales, UK due to its close resemblance to London in the 1990s. In a statement to ITV, executive producer Simon Heath explained why the city was chosen as the location principal to film the true detective series. He said:

“The whole series is set around Swansea. It was partly a cost decision, but partly it’s based on the fact that North London (where Delia’s story took place) no longer looks like the North London in the 1990s, which I knew very well.”

Heath explained that cost was not the only reason they chose Swansea. The city’s architecture perfectly matched how London looked in the 1990s when real events were taking place. There was also a brief one-day shoot in Amsterdam to capture the exterior views of the buildings. This is the place where John killed his ex-girlfriend and threw her corpse into a canal.
