A special delivery to the Douglas County Humane Society on Wednesday included much-needed paper towels. The $500 check didn’t hurt either.

The donations came from Harbor Pointe Credit Union, where staff raised money for the charity through snack sales.

There is a fundraiser for the Humane Society on Saturday the 16th, called Santa Paws. Bring your family and pets of any kind to get a professional photo. Any monetary donation is welcome.
