Cristiano Ronaldo’s YouTube channel has released a fascinating video showing the Real Madrid a legend’s journey to becoming one of the best professional footballers of all time.

A boy born in Madeira, Ronaldo moved to Lisbon at a young age to join the Sporting Lisbon academy. While there was competition between the young people, the video shows how everyone formed a family because they were away from their families.

Ronaldo’s hard work ethic was evident from a young age when he barely slept and spent hours working to become his best. He eventually made it to the first team and saw how fancy things the top players had. He even bet against a senior player to one day win the Ballon d’Or, which he did five times.

After dazzling in a friendly against Manchester United, he was transferred to Old Trafford. The rest is history as he went on to become one of the best players in English and world football.

The Portuguese superstar has won 17 major trophies with Los Blancos, including four UEFA Champions League titles. He won four Ballon d’Ors during his stay in Spain. Ronaldo has redefined scoring standards at Real Madrid, as shown by his ratio of over one goal per game.
