Bill, co-owner of Acai Underworld in Landsdowne, a south-western suburb of Sydney, regularly turns away 100 carloads of customers a night because the car park is already full.

He has become a cult figure on social networks. His food truck processes about 100 bright purple 10-kilogram buckets of frozen acai pulp per week, which he turns into delicious acai-based desserts with toppings including granola, banana, strawberries, Biscoff , peanut butter and Nutella.
