United States President-elect Donald Trump has confirmed he will involve the military and declare a national emergency to implement his plan to deport millions of undocumented immigrants.

Trump made the comment on social media on Monday. He responded with the word “TRUE” to conservative activist Tom Fitton speaking about the plan.

Trump previously called for a national emergency across the border. He declared one in 2019 to divert Pentagon funds to expand the wall between the United States and Mexico.

Immigration remains the cornerstone of Trump’s agenda. He has pledged to carry out the largest deportation operation in U.S. history and has already begun filling his new cabinet with hard-liners on the issue.
