The volume of parent company Gazprom’s investment program for 2024 was increased to 1,642 billion rubles ($16.84 billion), from the initially planned 1,574 billion rubles ($16.14 billion), in due to the positive dynamics of financial indicators resulting from export growth. and domestic supplies, the holding company said in a statement.

“The adjustment of the parameters of the investment program for 2024 is explained in particular by the clarification of the investment volumes for current projects,” the company underlined. The financial plan for 2024 approved by Gazprom’s board of directors will ensure that the company’s obligations will be fully met without any deficits. According to Famil Sadygov, deputy chairman of the Gazprom management committee, quoted in the press release, the holding continues to develop key projects, in particular those aimed at expanding supplies to China.

It was previously forecast that Gazprom’s investments in 2024 would amount to 1,574 billion rubles ($16.14 billion) (-20% compared to 2023), and investments of the Gazprom group as a whole – 2,639 billion rubles ($27.07 billion) (-15% compared to record investments in 2023).
