OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The main round of showers ended by mid-afternoon, but a few lingering scattered showers are likely this evening. Not everyone will see rain, but a few areas could see light showers at sunset and after. Saturday evening will be mostly cloudy with lows between 40 and 40 degrees. Sunday morning the showers will stop and the clouds will begin to decrease.

Sunday will still be windy with winds from the northwest between 15 and 25 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Sunday will be partly cloudy to partly sunny with slightly warmer temperatures in the upper 50s and lower 60s.

Veterans Day will be perfect with lots of sunshine and comfortable temperatures around 60 degrees. Winds will also be calmer coming from the north between 5 and 10 mph. Veterans Day events planned during the holiday won’t have to worry about the weather.

Our next chance of rain will occur early Wednesday morning. There looks to be some scattered light showers and they could persist into the afternoon, but it’s too early to know for sure. Otherwise, most of the coming week looks calm with temperatures consistently in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
