Margot Robbie and her husband, Tom Ackerley, reportedly welcomed their first child, a baby boy, born on October 17, slightly ahead of schedule. According to the Daily Mail, Margot “went into labor two weeks ago, just before her due date.” Both mother and baby are doing well, and the couple’s parents are expected to travel to Los Angeles soon to meet their grandson.

In July, photos of Robbie vacationing in Italy with her baby bump were released, showing her wearing a white crop top, oversized blazer and low-rise black pants while at Lake Como with Ackerley.

Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley first met while working on the film Suite Française in 2013. They married in December 2016 in a small ceremony in Byron Bay, Australia. Now, almost eight years later, they have welcomed their first child. The couple has always kept their relationship private.

In addition to this exciting personal milestone, Margot has been very busy with her career. She recently starred in My Old Ass, a film produced by her own production company, LuckyChap Entertainment, which was well received. Looking ahead, she is set to star in A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, which is scheduled to release on May 9, 2025. This romantic fantasy film features an ensemble cast, including Colin Farrell and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. That aside, she is also attached to a new project which is a prequel to Ocean’s Eleven, although the details of that film are still under wraps.

Meanwhile, the Barbie star will also star alongside Jacob Elordi in the upcoming film adaptation of Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights, directed by Emerald Fennell. The film, produced by MRC and LuckyChap, is set to begin pre-production with filming in the UK planned for 2025.

Margot will play Catherine Earnshaw, while Jacob will star as Heathcliff, the troubled adopted son of the Earnshaw family.
