The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kolkata will release the CAT 2024 admit cards today, November 5, 2024, as per the official notification. Candidates registered for the exam can visit the official website, iimcat.ac.in, to download their hall tickets once they are issued by the official authorities. The CAT 2024 registration window began on August 1, 2024 and closed on September 20, 2024. The exam is scheduled to be held on November 24, 2024.
The CAT exam is a gateway for candidates seeking admission to postgraduate commerce and doctorate programs at Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), as well as several non-IIM institutions that consider CAT scores in their process selection. CAT 2024 Admit Card: Steps to Download

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned here to download the CAT 2024 admit card from the official website.

  • Visit the official website at iimcat.ac.in.
  • Go to IIM Calcutta homepage and locate the CAT 2024 admit card link after it is released.
  • Click on “CAT 2024 Admit Card” (if available) and a new window will open.
  • Enter your login information and select Submit.
  • Your CAT 2024 admit card will appear; download it and print it for later use.

CAT 2024 Exam Pattern

The CAT 2024 exam will have three key sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA). Candidates will have a total of 120 minutes to complete the exam, with each section limited to 40 minutes, preventing any switching between sections. The exam will contain 66 questions in multiple choice (MCQ) and answer type (TITA) formats. The grading system includes +3 points for correct answers and a -1 penalty for incorrect MCQ answers.
