OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – We had a few brief moments of clearing in the sky today that really helped warm the area up to the upper 60s and some 70s. Unfortunately, cloudy skies will return this evening mostly after sunset of the sun. Lows will be in the mid to upper 50s.

Scattered thunderstorms are still likely to develop after sunset this evening, with the possibility of one or two storms becoming strong. There is a marginal risk of severe weather in York Region, where damaging winds and hail could occur tonight. Most storms will not be severe.

Monday will be another cloudy day with more scattered showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will start in the upper 50s, maybe a few 60s, then start to cool down to the lower 50s throughout the day.

On Election Day, the weather will be mostly cloudy with light showers, then gradually clear up in the afternoon. If you don’t want to wait in the rain, your best chance will be in the afternoon.
