HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) – An Amber Alert was issued Friday for an 11-year-old girl who was allegedly picked up by an unknown person, according to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office.

Mia James was last seen wearing a teal hoodie with the words “venom” written in glitter and black shorts. She is described as 5′6″ tall and weighing 98 pounds.

Authorities said she left her home on CR 3925, just north of Athens, and was then allegedly picked up by an unknown person. Additionally, on Friday, November 15, Sheriff Botie Hillhouse reported that Mia was seen Thursday on Highway 175 West, walking westbound toward Eustace. She was seen near Life Fellowship Church and walking alone around 5:45 p.m.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating James. If you have any information on his location, call the Sheriff’s Office immediately at (903) 675-5128.
