Police search for missing Olathe teen, missing for more than a week

OLATHE, Kan. (KCTV) – Police are searching for a missing Olathe teen with a medical condition who hasn’t been seen in more than a week.

THE Olathe, Kansas, police department announced Wednesday, Nov. 13, that it needed the community’s help to find missing 16-year-old Jennifer Carranza-Urrutia. She was last seen walking in the area of ​​W. 154th St. and Black Bob Rd. on November 2.

Investigators noted that Carranza-Urrutia is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 125 pounds. She has sandy brown hair and brown eyes. It is unclear what she was wearing when she was last seen.

Law enforcement officials also said Carranza-Urrutia suffered from a health condition that created a dangerous situation for her.
