LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Las Vegas Metropolitan Police are investigating a fatal accident in Spring Valley on Wednesday.

Around 5:45 p.m., police said the driver of a sedan was pulling out of a private driveway in Hualapai.

Police say there was a driver of an SUV heading north on Hualapai when it crashed into the sedan.

The impact caused the SUV to tip over.

Officers say both drivers were taken to UMC Trauma.

The driver of the sedan was seriously injured, according to police.

LVMPD officials say the driver of the SUV died from his injuries.
