NIXA, Mo. (KY3) – The Nixa Police Department is trying to track down two people who investigators say broke a window at a gas station.

The crime happened after midnight on Halloween. Police said two men were filmed walking toward the Rapid Robert’s gas station at 229 S. Village Center St. in Nixa. According to police, camera footage shows the two men wearing a red and white camouflage hoodie with the letters KCDC written on it and the other in a green camouflage hoodie. The men were seen on camera throwing a large piece of asphalt through the door, shattering the glass.

“It doesn’t look like they actually went in,” said Detective Noel Young of the Nixa Police Department. “A loud alarm went off at the gas station, and our officers were already right around the corner, so we think that scared them away.”
