Brianna accuses Zach Bryan of emotional abuse and asks him to sign an NDA

Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia accused of being a singer-songwriter Zach Bryan of emotional abuse and alleged that he forced his previous partners to sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) to prevent them from speaking publicly about their experiences with him.

LaPaglia made these statements on the Best friends Podcast she co-hosts with other Barstool hosts Dave Portnoy And Josh Richards THURSDAY.

“The last year of my life was the hardest year of my life dealing with this guy’s abuse,” LaPaglia said during the recent episode, referring to Bryan. “My brain is rewired and I’m afraid of making him angry and last week, she added. “I didn’t want to talk about it because I was afraid.”

The news comes amid a social media frenzy surrounding LaPaglia. public breakup with Bryan. On Wednesday, Richards and Portnoy released a diss track titled “The smallest man,» aimed at the country singer. The song included real audio from Bryan Arrest in 2023 in Oklahoma and referenced resurfaced tweets from Bryan-critical pop star Taylor Swift.

“You made women before me believe that they had no choice but to take money from you,” LaPaglia said. “(They) signed off on their experiences and what they’ve been through (so) you can go jump around and sing your little fucking songs on stage like you’re a good dude.”

A representative for Bryan did not immediately respond to rolling stonerequest for comment.

LaPaglia said his decision to speak out was “for anyone else who has been a victim of emotional abuse and for people who are currently experiencing emotional abuse.” She also claimed he asked her for $12 million to sign an NDA. “It was never about the money,” she said. “I was with this guy because I loved him, everything that was glamorous or rich or cool about him was the shit I hated about him.”

“It’s for everyone who doesn’t have a support system that I was lucky enough to get through this,” the podcaster continued. “It’s not a drama to me, it’s not me not signing the NDA or not taking the money because I want to come here and reveal who he is and all that shit. I’m not disowning not my experiences and what I endured to protect someone who hurt me and I am much stronger than a weak man, fuck you and fuck your money.

LaPaglia’s return to podcasting follows her statement last week, saying Best friends would take a week off. “Hey guys! We’ve been trying to record this week, but I’m having a really hard time figuring out how I want to handle this publicly because of all the negative reactions,” LaPaglia wrote at the time. “I’m going to prioritize my mental health this week.”

Her statement was released after Bryan announced their breakup on his Instagram Story last month. On YouTube, LaPaglia said she was caught off guard by the public announcement. “I didn’t know this post was going to come out,” she said in a short video. “I’m completely blindsided by this.”
