Bose Venkat believes that Suriya would be a great political leader. His comments make Suriya fans happy, but Vijay fans are upset.

Suriya and Vijay have been friends for years now.

With Tamil superstar Vijay shifting most of his attention to his political career, all eyes are on superstars like Ajith Kumar and Suriya to see if they would follow Vijay’s lead. Although Suriya is yet to express his desire to enter politics, his Kanguva co-star Bose Venkat has said that Suriya would make a great political leader. His comments praising Suriya made fans believe that he was subtly making fun of Vijay.

Speaking at the music launch of Kanguva, Bose Venkat said Suriya was a perfect leader to make his foray into politics. The actor, who played an important role in Kanguva, said, “A perfect leader must make his followers knowledgeable people. It should make them think. Understand the surroundings. Educate them, then enter politics. In this sense, Suriya is perfect. He did all that. So, I wish him to enter the political arena.

Coincidentally, his comments come at a time when Vijay is preparing to launch his mass rally. The actor is scheduled to hold his first press conference today, Sunday, as part of his political work. The actor-turned-political leader will be seen addressing his supporters in Villupuram.

Although fans were not happy with Bose’s comments, they celebrated the fact that Suriya showed support for Vijay. During the music launch, Suriya extended his best wishes to Udhayanidhi Stalin, currently the Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. He also congratulated Vijay and wished him all the success as he prepares to go all out with this political party. Watch the video below:

Meanwhile, Kanguva is set to release on November 14. Apart from Suriya, the film also stars Bobby Deol and Disha Patani. The film is directed by Siva.
